This was my first attempt at calamari, as some squid was very heavliy reduced in sainsbury’s. It went okay but the pan was not hot enough and I under estimated how much oil would be needed! Still not a bad first attempt. Cooking is all about trying new things!
Next time I would try and follow the recipe closer, as I ended up with flour, not egg which is what give the lovely crispy flavour.
Although I did try it with Sainbury’s Taste the Difference chilli jam, amazing!
