White Chocolate and Vanilla Cookies

White Chocolate and Vanilla Cookies

white chocolate, eggs, butter, vanilla essence, oats, plain flour, baking powder

30 mins

Finally nailed cookies-wooo! After many botched attempts using a recipes from the Good Housekeeping has lead me to success and boy are they delicious!

Cream 125gm of butter with 125gm of sugar until pale and creamy, then add one egg, 1 tsp of vanilla essence and 125gm of porridge oats and mix together. Sift in 150gm of plain flour and 1/2 tsp of baking powder and mix until evenly combined and add 100gm of white chocolate chunks. Place a walnut size ball of mixture on a greased baking tray, spacing them well apart and flatten them slightly. Bake at 180c for 12-15 minutes, if they are a little soft don’t worry when they cool they will harden slightly.
